Henan Police College (hereinafter referred to as Henan Police College), founded in February 1949, is located in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. It is an ordinary College of higher learning at the undergraduate level and A national public security system A-level school. It was formerly known as the Training Course for Security Cadres of the Social Department of the CPC Committee in Western Henan District, and was renamed Henan Police College in 2010. The school has experienced the development period of Henan Public Security Cadre School, Henan People's Police School and Henan Public Security College. In March 2010, the Ministry of Education and the provincial government approved the establishment of Henan Police College. According to the official website of the university in April 2018, the college has three campuses, located in Zhengzhou, Kaifeng and Luoyang, covering a total area of 1,690 mu with a collection of more than 1.01 million paper books.
